Aauris Hotel recently marked 10 years of crafting experiences that go beyond the expected. What began in 2015 as a boutique, design-led hospitality concept has today evolved into a multi-dimensional lifestyle destination—where hospitality, gastronomy, and culture intersect seamlessly. As it completes this milestone, Aauris is not looking back—it is looking ahead.

A Story Built on Evolution, Not Convention

Launched with a distinct point of view, Aauris entered Kolkata’s hospitality landscape as an intimate yet ambitious space for the modern traveller. With 56 rooms, curated dining concepts, and a strong design narrative, the hotel quickly carved a niche among guests seeking something more personal, thoughtful, and design-forward.

Rather than remaining static, Aauris has continuously evolved—allowing its spaces, concepts, and experiences to transform in response to changing guest expectations and cultural shifts.

Marking its 10-year milestone, the hotel has undertaken a complete renovation of all 56 rooms. The refreshed spaces reflect a more contemporary, intuitive design language—while retaining the warmth and character that define the Aauris experience.

    Reinventing Spaces, Redefining Experiences

Over the past decade, Aauris has consistently reimagined its identity, transforming familiar spaces into renewed experiences.

Its rooftop has transitioned across concepts to arrive at CoBo, a high-energy Pan-Asian brewery that reflects the city’s growing appetite for bold, social dining and a rising culture around craft beer. Its culinary journey has been equally dynamic—Zyqa reinterprets Indian cuisine through a contemporary lens, while Scarlet has evolved into a patisserie-forward brand known for its artisanal offerings and bespoke creations.

Further elevating its experiential portfolio, the hotel introduced LAVIE, its Presidential Suite—an exclusive, private luxury experience within the urban landscape.

Each concept at Aauris has been built not just as an outlet, but as a standalone experience—contributing to a larger ecosystem of curated living.

The Next Chapter: Expansion, Experience, and Intent

As Aauris steps into its second decade, the focus shifts towards thoughtful expansion and sharper positioning.

With the launch of Scarlet 2.0 at Southern Avenue, the brand is extending beyond the hotel into standalone, community-driven spaces that prioritise design, quality, and everyday luxury. This marks the beginning of a larger vision – to grow Aauris as a lifestyle brand, not just a single-location hotel.

At the property level, the next phase will focus on:

    • Enhanced guest experiences through more personalised, tech-integrated hospitality
    • Design upgrades and spatial reimagination across key areas of the hotel
    • Stronger F&B innovation, with evolving menus, collaborations, and concept-driven dining
    • Curated cultural programming spanning music, art, and immersive experiences
    • Selective expansion into new formats and locations, while maintaining the brand’s boutique ethos

As part of this evolution, Aauris is also set to undertake a facelift of its lobby, reimagining it as a more immersive, design-led arrival experience that reflects the brand’s evolving aesthetic.

The focus for the year ahead is clear—to elevate everyday moments within the hotel into thoughtfully curated experiences, ensuring that every guest interaction feels seamless, engaging, and distinctly Aauris.

Reflecting on the milestone, Tejinder Singh Saini shares: “A decade of Aauris is ultimately a story of evolution. We have never believed in standing still—every space, every concept has been designed to grow with time and with our guests. As we move forward, our focus is on building a brand that extends beyond hospitality in its traditional sense. We see Aauris as a platform for experiences—where design, food, culture, and community come together in a way that feels effortless yet elevated. The next phase is about expansion with intent, deeper guest engagement, and creating concepts that can stand independently while still carrying the Aauris identity. The vision is not just to grow bigger, but to grow more meaningful.”

As it enters its second decade, Aauris is positioning itself at the intersection of boutique hospitality and lifestyle-led experiences.

With a clear focus on innovation, expansion, and design-driven thinking, the brand is set to move beyond being a destination—towards becoming a recognisable voice in modern luxury.
