The wintry breeze swept through the streets of Delhi as guests flocked to the Shangri-La Eros for a grand exhibition of Kashmiri cuisine at their renowned restaurant, Tamra. The exhibition, titled Zaika-e-Wazwan – the flavors of Kashmir, showcased the diverse culinary delights of the beautiful valley.

Tamra, known for its wide range of global cuisines, played host to this extraordinary event. From Thai delicacies to European favorites, Arabic classics to Japanese treats, this culinary haven offers a unique experience to every visitor. However, it was the allure of Kashmiri cuisine that stole the spotlight in this particular season.

As guests entered the lavishly decorated Tamra, the aromas of various cuisines wafted through the air, instantly captivating their senses. The ambiance, adorned with intricate tapestries and traditional Kashmiri artifacts, was a testament to the beauty of Kashmiri culture. Amidst this enchanting setting, the main attraction, the gastronomic delights of Kashmir, awaited the eager visitors.

The exhibition boasted a myriad of irresistible dishes, tempting guests with their rich flavors and delicate spices. From the signature rista, a heavenly meat dish, to succulent lazeez kebabs, delectable Gushtaba, and flavorsome Kashmiri rajma, the menu was a treat for the taste buds. The aromatic spices tantalized the senses, while the zaffrani rasmalai promised a heavenly dessert experience.

To ensure an authentic culinary experience, skilled chefs from Kashmir were specially invited to curate these exquisite creations. They shared their passion for the traditional flavors made with time-honored recipes passed down through generations. Their artistry transformed simple ingredients into culinary masterpieces.

As guests settled down at beautifully decorated tables adorned with yellow tulips, the ambiance became even more inviting. Live folk songs performed by talented musicians resonated throughout Tamra, immersing visitors in the vibrant culture of Kashmir. The melodies perfectly complemented the artistry of the chefs who tirelessly crafted each dish with love and finesse.

As visitors indulged in the lavish buffet spread, their taste buds embarked on an unforgettable journey. The tender meat transformed under the influence of complex spices, while creamy curries danced on the tongues. The fragrant rice melted in their mouths, leaving them craving for more. The zaffrani rasmalai, an ethereal dessert, was a perfect finale to the culinary delights of Kashmir.

The exhibition is happening for ten days, from the 19th to the 28th of January, attracting food lovers from all corners of Delhi. Each dish served as a testament to the deep-rooted flavors and traditions of this northern Indian paradise.

The exhibition of Kashmiri cuisine at Tamra, Shangri-La Eros, is a true delight for the senses. It provided an enchanting escape from the cold winter days of Delhi.
