A Rainy Day with Samosa Singh: Biting into Tradition with a Twist

There are some moments food makes for you, and then there are moments when only food can make the moment. That’s precisely what happened on my first visit to Samosa Singh QSR, timed perfectly with Delhi’s sudden summer rain. The city, usually scorched by relentless heat, had suddenly turned cloudy and romantic—a movie scene sort of afternoon. And as fate would have it, that’s when I got my first taste of Samosa Singh’s samosas and snacks!

Authenticity, Freshness & A Dash of Nostalgia

Samosa Singh has been creating a bit of a buzz ever since they announced their new QSR outlets in some of the most happening malls of NCR—Pacific Mall in NSP, Delhi and Bhutani City Centre in Noida, to be exact. So when curiosity—and hunger—got the better of me, I braved the traffic (and the puddles) to finally sample what all the fuss was about.

Here’s what stood out: Samosa Singh does what every good Indian snack should do. It takes you back to your roots. The preparation is beautifully simple, prioritizing authenticity. Each bite manages to keep the original flavours of India’s beloved snack alive—nothing overly fancy, just good old-fashioned deliciousness. But (and this is a big but!), they aren’t afraid to experiment. The range of samosas offers not just the classic aloo but inventive new versions that break tradition just enough to intrigue you, without ever crossing the line into sacrilege. Think classic recipes meeting modern twists and technology, all aimed at making the experience not just tastier, but less greasy too.

And that’s rare! So brands slap a “fusion” tag but end up losing the soul of the snack. Samosa Singh gets the balance right—bold enough to innovate, but careful to not mess with what made sam special in the first place.

    More Than Just Samosas

Of course, samosas are just the beginning. These new outlets do justice to a plethora of Indian street foodkachoris, chaat, and a selection of creative snacks to you further. The variety is impressive, and every bite feels carefully crafted.

Another plus? Their presence in high-footfall, vibrant locations—meaning you don’t really need to go out of your way; you’ll simply stumble upon a store as you’re out shopping or catching up with friends. And for the days when monsoon mood strikes but leaving the comfort of your home doesn’t: Samosa Singh is a Swiggy or Zomato scroll away.

    The Verdict

In my books, Samosa Singh is doing more than just selling samosas—they’re keeping an important tradition alive and kicking (and updating it with enough flair it never feels stuck in the past). With these newly launched stores in Delhi and Noida, they’ve cemented their place as a go-to snack stop for the NCR crowd.

So, if you find yourself eyeing those dark clouds and wishing for that perfect cup of chai, trust me—add a plate of Samosa Singh to the mix. You might just find, as I did, that your first bite is all the sunshine day needs.

Who knows? Maybe your samosa is the reason for the next rain shower. Don’t wait for the weather—let the snack set the mood.
